The Dean of Students and Faculty at the Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains, New York. Dr. Bish has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia as a conductor, clarinet soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, and lecturer. He has served as principal clarinetist with numerous professional orchestras and on Broadway, and has been a music faculty member and administrator at Boston University, the Boston Conservatory of Music, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and City College of San Francisco.
Dr. Bish has conducted professional, community, and academic orchestras around the world. Considered an expert on adjudication and music competitions, he is the former President of the National Association of Music Festivals. At the request of Queen Noor Al-Hussein, Dr. Bish became the founder of the Instrumental Music Education Program for the country of Jordan and is the author of books on conducting and rehearsal techniques.
