The audio/video team’s goal is to record all the performances of the Music in the Alps Festival with high quality audio and multi-angle video.

Depending on the availability of internet connection all the performances will be livestreamed on Music in the Alps’ YouTube channel and will be archived on the channel after that. The link to each livestream will be posted on MITA’s website, Facebook page and other social media prior to the events.

Livestream videos are edited in real time during the broadcast and might require additional corrections as far as framing of the shots, transitions, speed of angle changes, etc.

Performers interested in obtaining audio/video recordings of their performances can either:

  • Access their live streamed performances on YouTube at the links on MITA’s website
  • Request a digital file of the livestream video at no charge (delivered via Dropbox)
  • Request raw footage files from each camera plus the high-quality audio files at no charge (delivered via Dropbox)
  • Request more detailed edits of the videos, which would include color correction, framing, audio synchronization, titles + text, transitions etc. Depending on the complexity of requested edits and the length of performances, each video might take between 1 and 3 hours to complete. Performers will be charged $15 per hour for this service and are encouraged to communicate with the audio/video team to determine the cost estimate.
